Have you been seeing the #Oneroomchallenge hashtag everywhere? The six-week interior design event, orchestrated by the Calling It Home blog, invites designers and design enthusiasts to rework a space in six weeks and chronicle their adventures along the way, providing an incredible sneak peak into the design processes of many talented people (and tons of inspiration for your own abode). The Fall 2015 One Room Challenge wrapped up Nov. 12, and the results are so stunning, we’ve dedicated this week’s What We’re Watching link roundup to some of the participants. There are too many great spaces to show them all here, so check out these four favorites and then get ready to spend a day looking at all of the participants’ rooms. It’s totally worth your time, we promise.
And now, the eye candy overload.
North Carolina-based interior designer Holly Hollingsworth Phillips racked up the compliments in the comment section when she revealed the final result of her One Room Challenge project on her blog, The English Room. Color lovers, rejoice – this room is fun, bright, and downright beautiful.
Love Create Celebrate blogger Lindi saw the One Room Challenge as a reason to create one of the most softly beautiful kids’ rooms we’ve ever seen for her daughter. The grays and light pinks (along with the custom-made gallery featuring super-fun framed images and text) combine to create an oasis that any toddler (or adult) would covet.
Who would have thought that home gyms could be so stylish? From the lustworthy geometric flooring that Lisa Canning created with modular carpet tiles to the living-room-worthy mirror flanked by super-cool sconces, this workout space puts the fanciest, celebrity-laden gyms to shame.
Self-declared “preppy girl” Paige created what may be the ultimate room for pattern lovers. Check out all of the photos of her arresting kitchen/breakfast area on her blog, The Pink Clutch, and get ready to add some color, pattern, and dragons to your own interiors.
