Last week it was finally time for Salone del Mobile, also known as Milan Design Week. With over 2407 exhibitors, 372,151 attendees and 67% of attendees from abroad Salone del Mobile has become one of the most anticipated events when it comes to furniture design. Though this year we weren’t able to attend the event, we did enjoy following it daily on Twitter and getting a glimpse of all the great designs. We saw a lot of amazing and innovative furniture come by and wanted to share a few of our favorites with you.

Italian company Moroso definitely caught our eye, with their colorful and crazy designs! These stunning additions to any home definitely deserve a spot on Antonio Ballatore’s TV show “The Antonio Treatment.” Though there was a lot of internet buzz surrounding their Biknit chair (left), we could already picture ourselves enjoying a good book in their Shadowy chair (right).

When it comes to heating, radiators are best kept hidden. This will no longer be the case after seeing these gorgeous radiator designs by Cinier! Cinier’s radiators are eye-catching, instead of an eyesore, and feel like part of the interior.

One of the most innovative designs this year has to be the The Offmat kitchen sink. It’s part of Tuler, a responsive countertop, designed by Marmo Arendo and Tipic. The Offmat stole the show due to its retractable ability. The sink opens and lowers just by swiping your hand. Head to Contemporist to learn more about the capabilities of the creative Tuler countertop. You will be amazed!
