“Edgy jewelry for the bathroom”
The Watermark Collection offers edgy, radical new views on bathroom and kitchen brassware, combining authentic industrial heritage with a contemporary decorative chic.
‘Zen’ is the name of the latest iconic addition to the existing range, widening the terrain of the selected materials by combining polished copper with carefully selected stones. ‘Zen’ is a deck mounted basin set with an elegant swan spout. This unusual mix of materials in a minimal shape gives a sleek, luxurious touch to a zen-like bathroom.
The collection is featured with the Watermark Collection’s own patented Magnetic Handles, providing six possible finishes : brushed brass, polished copper, Bianco Carrara Marble, Nero Marquina Marble, Honey Onyx and Ice White Onyx.
Like the nine other collections of The Watermark Collection, ‘Zen’ is a complete range with deck taps, wall taps, shower heads and so on, including incredibly detailed accessories.
About The Watermark Collection:The Watermark Collection describes itself as a “creative brand for creative people” with it’s offered boutique brassware. The company was founded in 1976 by Herman Abel, out of a passion for metal finishing. A passion that remains one of the core values of the company to this day.
The unique products have been created over many years, carefully mixing the secret formulas of their founder with help of artisans and craftspeople from across Brooklyn. Many of the original craftsmen still work in the factory to this day, combining traditional metal finishing with precision engineering.
The team of designers find inspiration in the architectural details and engineering structures around them and create new products by infusing these elements into their designs. The Watermark Collection is completely made by hand at an in house factory with careful attention to detail. This results in a high-quality product that has received the approval of numerous architects and designers, hence the use of the collection in The Ritz Carlton.
Each piece is precisely machined from solid lead-free brass, hand finished then assembled to order. With each range giving up to sixty different product options for kitchens and bathroom basins, baths, and showers, customers create their own completely individual set-ups. At the next choice level, there are fifteen different finishes; including polished nickel, copper and gold, vintage brass, gun metal, and pewter.
To achieve the luxurious, durable metal finishes which are the signature of Watermark, every component goes through a process of hand polishing, plating and spraying which can take several days. The products are then hand assembled and intensively pressure tested before being packed for shipping.
