About us

Albu & associates is a certified minority owned general contractor and construction manager with headquarters in central florida and a satellite office in south florida. albu & associates works in both the public and private sectors building commercial and institutional projects such as retail office schools healthcare religious and light industrial. the company was founded in 2001 by george e. albu an immigrant from brazil. george was born in rio de janeiro and grew up in brazil with his mother father two sisters and brother. eventually his family immigrated to the united states to find a better way of life and landed in ew york city. george attended college in pennsylvania and became a civil engineer. george then went overseas to work in the construction field and returned to the united states in 1981 to longwood florida where george and his wife raised their two sons jason and andrew through the central florida public school system. jason and andrew both attended the university of florida. george worked for some local general contractors in central florida and ventured out on his own in 1994 and formed albu inc. to provide construction consulting.
