About us

Courtland landscape architecture and construction inc. was founded by lance muller in september 2009 while the design and construction industry had collapsed. after graduating from the university of georgia with a degree in landscape architecture lance went on to intern and work for hayes james and associates inc. for five years designing commercial site plans grading plans and planting plans. he worked along civil engineers and surveyors producing construction documents and presenting at rezoning meetings. later lance would go onto urban design at small reynolds stewart stewart and associates inc. in buckhead. urban plazas public spaces and office park hardscapes was his role while collaborating with architecture and interior designers. lance and his staff currently work in decatur and lives in a bungalow in decatur with his amazing wife and two beautiful daughters.
