About us
Groot builders was founded in the 1950s when jake groot immigrated from the etherlands to west michigan. his son bob joined the business after graduating from college. upon jake s retirement in 1992 bob took over the company. in 1993 while in high school scott mulder started working at groot builders. he learned all phases of construction and eventually became construction manager running the day to day operations with bob. in december 2018 bob decided to retire from groot builders and dedicate his time to groot realty. at this point scott took over as owner of groot builders. he continues the
