Liles construction company was started in 1984 by george w. liles jr. as a residential contracting firm specializing in upscale custom homes. while mr. liles enjoyed the intricacy of residential construction he soon realized that his professional expertise was better suited to the commercial and industrial realm of the construction market. thus in 1987 the company became incorporated as g.w. liles construction company inc. and changed its focus from residential building to commercial and industrial general contracting.
